As Associate Director of Standards and Program Support, Emily manages and collaborates with volunteer subject matter experts to obtain consensus on technical requirements for GBI’s ANSI Standards. She also works closely with the Client Services team and Green Globes Assessors to create, update, and manage many of GBI’s certification questionnaires. Emily has fifteen years of experience working in the association, environmental, and construction industries. She holds bachelor’s degrees in both Political Science and Environmental Studies from Ripon College and is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) from the American Society of Association Executives. Emily is also an active member of the Society for Standardization Professionals and is current Chair of the Awards Committee. Emily resides in Wisconsin where she enjoys reading, baking, gardening, and chasing after her 4 boys during her off time.
