Michael is the General Manager of ConTech Lighting, a Leviton Company. In addition, he has held leadership positions at other organizations in the areas of design, marketing, application engineering, training, and product development where he has earned over twenty new product awards. He has also worked as a lighting designer on many architectural and entertainment projects, for which he has earned several international lighting design awards. He is an active member of the Illuminating Engineering Society where he is the Chair of the Light and Design committee. He is a sub-committee Chair of the NCQLP Exam Writing Committee and is a member of the WELL Light Concept Advisory. He has earned a BA, MS, and MBA as well as two Graduate Certificates, one in Sustainability Leadership and another in Building for Health. His continuing passion is to create and educate about the Lighting Experience, which is design to benefit people, our places, and our planet alike.
