Amari Roskelly, GGP, GPCF, LEED AP BD+C

Amari Roskelly is one of the Federal West Senior Sustainability Coordinators for the Jacobs Offices based out of Fort Worth. She just celebrated her 12-year anniversary at Jacobs where she has provided a variety of sustainability services including coordinating and quality checking all the sustainability Third Party Certification (TPC) documentation and UFC High Performance Sustainable Building requirements for over a hundred federal and private projects. Her list of past projects includes fifty-two LEED projects (including v2.2, v3 BD+C and CI and v4 BD+C rating systems) as well as twenty GPA/GPC projects with both Green Business Council Inc. (GBCI) and Green Building Initiative (GBI). Amari has additional experience in Sustainability Construction Administration, Programming Charrette Reports (PCR’s) and Sustainability Master Planning for both federal and non-federal clients.

Beyond her desk duties, she has also served as the co-leader of the Fort Worth Office’s Jacobs Sustainability Committee (JSC), which provides a wide variety of annual sustainability education sessions and volunteer events, LEED CMP opportunities, the quarterly green newsletter as well as health, whole sustainability and happiness awareness throughout the office and working remotely. 

After completing her BS in Architecture in 2008 at the University of Texas at Arlington, she moved on to complete her Masters in Sustainability with honors from UTA in December of 2012. In 2012, she took on the full-time position of Sustainability Coordinator for the Jacobs Engineering office in Fort Worth where she has remained for the past decade. 

In the spring of 2012, she became the Design/Architect Chair for the Sustainable DFW Executive Board and was responsible for designing the group’s community garden in north Fort Worth. Amari has also been a guest lecturer at UTA for the MBA and Sustainability Master’s program. In April of 2013, Amari earned her LEED AP BD+C, and is currently in the process of studying for her WELL AP credentials. Additionally, in September of 2014, she earned her GGP and GPCP. She has volunteered for many years in the sustainability world by serving as a Greenbuild session reviewer for the past decade and she has also served as one of the subject matter experts for the USGBC LEED GA Exam content reviewer. Most recently, Amari earned her LEED for Cities and Communities Rating System Process Pro and LEED for Cities and Communities Certification Process Pro with GBCI. As her career continues to reach new milestones, she is constantly on the search for learning new policies and procedures, green building technology and more sustainable strategies for our built environment.
