Nathan has been practicing architecture for over twenty years in central Illinois. From a family of blue collar-workers, he earned his undergraduate degree from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, followed by a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Illinois in 2003. He began his sustainability work a few years after his employment at a firm in Illinois where he completed his first assessment in 2013 for Shipley Energy. He accepted an offer to become a principal at EA Architecture & Design, Inc. in 2014 where he continues is sustainable stewardship. Nathan strives to integrate green strategies into common sense building design to achieve the best product for both the client and our environment.
