Course Description
This webinar is the second of a DOD GPC NC webinar series, aimed for DOD project managers and those in the A/E/C community who are scoping federal projects requiring TPC or are preparing for DOD GPC NC assessments. The presentation will include updates to the UFC 1-200-02 for the DOD and new Guiding Principles implementing instructions for general agencies. Attendees will be introduced to new supporting resources that provide guidance through the assessment process. GBI’s primary DOD GPC NC Assessor will discuss best practices and the importance of establishing an effective Integrated Design team and strategies for performing LCCAs where applicable. Attendees will also learn how to prepare and deliver a comprehensive Sustainability eNotebook, for delivery to GBI and the executing government agency.

2. Identify the supporting resources that GBI provides to project teams to help navigate through the Guiding Principles Compliance assessment process and the purpose of each.
3. Understand the importance of establishing an Integrated Design team early on to set goals, track progress and review the requirements of the Guiding Principles and UFC 1-200-02 (for DOD projects).
4. Summarize best practices for preparation of a Sustainability eNotebook to demonstrate compliance.
