GBI Senior Vice President Jenna Middaugh

Jenna Middaugh rose to become GBI’s first Senior Vice President (SVP) in October 2023. The creation of this role is representative not only of Jenna’s accomplishments but also GBI’s growth over its 20-year history and its commitment to recognizing and nurturing talent from within.

In her previous role, Jenna served as Vice President of Operations for GBI and became the association’s first-ever recipient of the Chair’s Award for Meritorious Service. The Award recognized her commitment to GBI’s mission and her successful leadership of a 5-year effort to rebuild the association’s operations and assessment delivery platforms in support of GBI’s clients, members, and wider community.

Jenna’s SVP role expands her areas of responsibility beyond client services, IT, finance, and operations to include oversight of the association’s engagement, government affairs, standards development, and community outreach efforts. Prior to joining GBI as a project manager in 2011, she gained experience in operations and IT management while working in international education. Jenna holds a BA from Arizona State University in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Anthropology and Geography and is pursuing the Institute for Organization Management (IOM) designation from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Beyond her professional achievements, Jenna is a mother to triplet boys, practices yoga, and enjoys science & technology podcasts. She is an avid traveler and has worked and studied in France and Spain.
