Kevin Bennett is a Professor of Construction Management at Santa Fe College in Gainesville, Florida, and principal manager of Bennett Construction Consulting, LLC. Additionally, he teaches Green Building Design & Delivery at Tuskegee University. Kevin has over 30 years of commercial and multi-family project construction management experience in the Orlando and South Florida markets.
Professor Bennett holds a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction and a Master of Science in Construction Management with a concentration in Construction Sustainability, both from the University of Florida. He is a PhD Candidate at the University of Florida’s College of Design, Construction & Planning and will graduate in May 2023.
Professor Bennett has been a Green Globes Professional (GGP) since 2018. He is a member of Santa Fe College’s Sustainability Committee and advises SFC administration on initiatives to increase campus sustainability.
Professor Bennett is a veteran of the U.S. Army and the Florida National Guard. He served in the US Army Corps of Engineers and is a Gulf War veteran.
